Puerto Rico trip photos, part 1

Don't be scared, this isn't a twenty-part series with 500 photos each, just a handful of shots that I thought were among the better ones. Bear in mind I'm not a professional, and haven't even attempted photoshop magic yet.

Photos from around Old San Juan

Views walking towards Castillo San Felipe del Morro.

Sidewalk with palms.

Outside the fort, which happened to be closed for Christmas (we presumed). This was a lookout to protect Spanish interests in the Caribbean, if I understood correctly.

View from El Morro down the coast to another fort (not sure which one).

Lots of great texture at the fort!

Stunning coast - I can only imagine what a sunny day looks like here.

Cemetery near the fort.

And now, for the finale (drumroll, please), my favorite photo of the day:

I need to photoshop it and see what happens. I'd like to try it in sepia tone, though I'm not sure there's enough contrast to make it worth it. Just be glad this photo isn't scratch and sniff, though...not sure what gets into people, but the isolation of the little lookout combined with a lack of public restrooms adds up to stink. Seriously.

Lovely photos, Beth. And I liked the one you liked too. Let me know when you play with it.
