Garden love

Anyone out there garden in small spaces? I have mostly given up on veggies (not because you can't make it work, but due to limited space and having left my large pots in TX), except for two pepper plants, but have several herbs and wild strawberry plants. Rather than starting from seed, I used a credit card reward gift card to buy seedlings from Lowe's. This was a good move for impatient gardeners like me. I already used the flat leaf parsley and oregano to make Chimichurri (it smelled great, and I'll tell you how good it tastes once I cook with it). I think that the herbs I have will keep me cooking all summer. And of course the Cat likes the catnip. A lot. I have more than one catnip plant (there were, like, 3 in the one little container), so if anyone has cats, I'll mail you some 'nip. That probably makes me some kind of cartel in the cat world, but so be it. Here's some photographic evidence...

Beth, you are truly a gardener at heart. I pray that someday you WILL have a true gardening space. Too bad about the pots left in TX. But you can always get some more. LOL! Keep getting dirty and growing things. It looks lovely on your patio.

Love, Mom

We have a garden box (5 by 10 feet) and then I do "pots" on our porch. I go to construction sites and use left over paint buckets (punch a whole in the bottom) for tomatoes, peppers, eggplant and rhubarb. It's amazing how much you can grow in a pot/container. I've never done herbs. You can plant in any type of container
